2005: Saw action in 14 games during her junior season, finding herself in the starting lineup eight times. Notched the game winner in the 66th minute of a 1-0 win at Murray State (9/7) on an assist from Monique Gjini for her only goal of the season. Had ankle surgery during the spring as she continues to battle injury. Academically she was a member of the AD Honor Roll and the Dean's list.

2004: Played in 11 matches, while starting six as a sophomore. Chipped her first career goal and assists. Picked up the assist in win at Murray State (9/14). Blasted home the game winner against Morehead State (10/15). A member of the AD Honor Roll, Dean's list and C-USA Commissioner's List.

2003: Played in seven matches during her first campaign as a Cardinal. Was a member of the AD Honor Roll.

High School: Two-time MVP and All-Conference selection as well as captain of the Eagles, earning three letters. Played for Cincinnati Classics for seven years and Hammer F.C. for four more seasons of club soccer.

Personal: Born 2/26/85 in Cincinnati, Ohio to David and Danise Engel. Is majoring in exercise science at U of L. Would like to find a job and get into coaching after college. Enjoys water skiing in her spare time. Jason Kidd is her favorite athlete. Best athlete she ever faced was Kristine Lilly during a Charlie Cook Skills video shoot. Enjoys watching Trading Spaces and Friends. Would like to dine with her grandpa Pennington, her friend Mike Pangallo and Paul Walker.
