2006: Competed in four matches before suffering a knee injury that ended her season. Utilized a medical redshirt. Played every minute of the four matches she was healthy for, getting off five shots. Made the AD Honor Roll, Dean's List and was a member of the BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team.
High School: Played varsity soccer as a sophomore and senior, with an ACL injury keeping her out of the lineup as a junior. She earned First Team All-Conference both seasons she played and was Offensive Player of the Year as a senior. Lead the league in scoring her sophomore year. Scored eight goals and added nine assists her senior season, placing her second on the team. Competed for Team America U9-U10 (`96-97) and PWSi Twisters U1-U13 (`97-99) in Virginia, the Arsenal U13-14(`00-01) in Nebraska and Cincinnati United Premier Red in Ohio South U15-18(2001-present).
Personal: Born on 12/01/87 in Woodbridge, Virginia to Brett and Nancy Thompson. Is majoring in nursing at U of L. Her brother Dustin, who passed away when she was in eighth grade, is the biggest influence on her athletically. Likes soccer and watching movies in her spare time, but cannot pick a favorite because "there are too many good movies out there." Watches Lost, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy and Real World on TV. The US National Women's Team is her favorite team. Taco's, steak and Oreo shakes are her favorite foods. She would like to have dinner with Albert Einstein, Michael Jordan and Martin Luther King Jr. Her father played pro soccer in England before his family moved to America.
