Zeb Speir became a member of the University of Louisville football staff in 2019.
Speir comes to Louisville after wrapping up his collegiate career at Appalachian State in 2018. The Sylva, N.C. native spent four seasons as a quarterback on Scott Satterfield’s team, appearing in five games over his final two years. Speir was a member of the Appalachian State football team that captured three consecutive Sun Belt Conference championships and four straight bowl victories.
As a player, Speir was a member of the Head Coach’s Leadership Council and selected to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List.
The son of Western Carolina head coach Mark Speir, he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in communication/public relations in December of 2018.
