Eric McDaniel was hired as part of the University of Louisville football staff in January of 2019.
McDaniel made the move to Louisville after previously working for Scott Satterfield at Appalachian State. McDaniel served as a defensive quality control coach for two years working specifically with the defensive line.
Prior to his time at Appalachian State, McDaniel worked a pair of seasons as a graduate assistant at Muskingum.
McDaniel played collegiately at Purdue from 2009-13, appearing in 15 games.
McDaniel graduated from Purdue in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in health and kinesiology, and a master’s in education from Muskingum in 2016.
