Foley Selected to Mackey Award Watch List

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville tight end Brody Foley was named to the preseason watch list for the 2026 John Mackey Award announced on Wednesday.
Foley was one of 43 tight ends nationally to earn a spot on the watch list for the award presented to the top tight end in the sport.
Foley transferred to Louisville for the 2026 season following a standout year at Tulsa. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native was a first team All-AAC selection after leading the Golden Hurricane in receiving with 528 yards on 37 receptions. Foley hauled in seven receiving touchdowns and scored twice on the ground.
Foley began his career with three seasons at Indiana from 2022-24.
Presented annually to the most outstanding tight end in college football, the John Mackey Award honors the legacy of Pro Football Hall of Famer John Mackey, whose excellence, leadership, character, and impact on the game continue to inspire generations of student-athletes. Established in 2000 by the Nassau County Sports Commission, the award remains one of college football's premier individual honors for the tight end position.
