Daytona Beach, Fla. -- The University of Louisville All-Girl cheer squad won its 22nd national championship and the 12th in a row for the Cardinals Friday evening at the Daytona Beach Bandshell.

The Cardinals' All-Girl squad scored a 95.8959 for the win, beating out runner-up Kennesaw State (95.8417) and Clemson (93.9042).

Louisville placed second in the Division IA Large Co-ed Division with the Cards finishing with 93.775 points just behind winner Texas Tech's 94.225 points and ahead of third place Oklahoma State's 93.5042. Â
Competition will continue tomorrow with the Ladybirds and Small Co-Ed still on tap. .Â
