
All-Girl Squad Wins 12th Consecutive National Championship

Daytona Beach, Fla. -- The University of Louisville All-Girl cheer squad won its 22nd national championship and the 12th in a row for the Cardinals Friday evening at the Daytona Beach Bandshell.
The Cardinals' All-Girl squad scored a 95.8959 for the win, beating out runner-up Kennesaw State (95.8417) and Clemson (93.9042).
Louisville placed second in the Division IA Large Co-ed Division with the Cards finishing with 93.775 points just behind winner Texas Tech's 94.225 points and ahead of third place Oklahoma State's 93.5042.
Competition will continue tomorrow with the Ladybirds and Small Co-Ed still on tap. .
