LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The annual University of Louisville Women's Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon presented by Stockton Mortgage will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 8 in the Grand Ballroom of the Galt House Hotel.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and the event begins at noon.
Tickets are $45 each, or tables for 10 are available for $450, and can be purchased at GoCards.com/WBBTipOff. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Louisville opens the 2024-25 campaign in Paris, France for the Aflac Oui-Play against UCLA on Monday, November 4. The home opener is set for Friday, November 8 against Southern Indiana at the KFC Yum! Center.
The Cardinals are coming off their 14th-consecutive 20-win season, the fifth-longest active streak in the country. Louisville won its seventh-straight game over Kentucky last season, the Cardinals longest winning streak in the rivalry's history. Louisville collected its 1,000th-program win last year against Duke and they were the 27th program all-time to achieve that feat.
The Cards return six players from last year's squad and will be joined by nine newcomers. Of the nine newcomers, eight of them are freshmen and the freshman class was ranked No. 6 overall by ESPN. Four of the incoming freshmen were ranked in the Top-100 recruits by ESPN.
