LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Sebastian Moss carded an 8-under-par 134 to lead the University of Louisville men's golf team to the lead after two rounds of the Bearcat Invitational Monday at the Coldstream Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.
As a team, the Cards collectively shot an 8-under-par 562 to hold a three shot lead over Kansas on Monday. Cincinnati is in third place at 1-over and Little Rock stands in fourth place after 36 holes. The Cards shot a 5-under-par 279 during the first round and followed with a 1-under-par 283.
Moss holds a two shot lead over the field after shooting 65-69=134. He shot a 6-under-par 65 on the first 18 holes, recording seven birdies, including four on the back nine holes. He followed that round with a 69 to enter the final round with a two-shot lead over Ryan Ford from Cincinnati and William King from Kansas.
Easton Johnson is tied for 12th place after shooting an even-par 142. He opened his round with a 1-under 70 and shot 72 on the next 18 holes. Mads Roddik is tied for 23rd after finishing with a 2-over 144., including a 69 on the second 18. Cooper Claycomb is tied for 38th after his rounds of 4-over-par and Brady Smith is tied for 62nd.
The Cardinals will play the final 18 holes on Tuesday morning.
