Every year the University of Louisville recognizes the widespread success of its student-athletes and teams with The Louies Student-Athlete Awards, celebrating the best moments, on the field of play, in the classroom and out in the community, during the 2023-24 school year.

Cardinal Cup

The University of Louisville Rowing team is this year's winner of the Cardinal Cup.

CardsCARE Team Award - Male

The University of Louisville Baseball team is the male CardsCARE Team Award winner for their work in the community.

CardsCARE Team Award - Female

The University of Louisville Rowing team is the female CardsCARE Team Award winner for their work in the community.

CardsCARE Award

Krista Wheeler is the winner of this year's individual CardsCARE award for her work in the community.

Teammate of the Year - Male

Max Kennedy, Men's Golf, is the winner of the male Teammate of the Year Award.

Teammate of the Year - Female

Gabby Holloway, Softball, is the winner of the female Teammate of the Year Award.

Highest Team GPA - Male

Louisville Men's Swim & Dive win the Highest GPA Award with a Fall 2023 GPA of 3.512.

Highest Team GPA - Female

Louisville Women's Soccer wins the Highest GPA Award with a Fall 2023 GPA of 3.743.

Highest Senior GPA

Minna Tremonti, Louisville Field Hockey, wins the Highest Senior GPA Award.

UPS Leadership Award - Male

Josh Jones, Men's Soccer, is this year's winner of the male UPS Leadership Award.

UPS Leadership Award - Female

Anna DeBeer, Louisville Volleyball, is this year's winner of the female UPS Leadership Award.

Outstanding Support Staff

Carson Molaro, Sports Performance, is this year's Outstanding Support Staff Award winner.

Rookie of the Year - Male

Brion Stephens is the winner of the Rookie of the Year Award following his 2023 Outdoor Track & Field campaign.

Rookie of the Year - Female

Lucy Mehraban is the winner of the Rookie of the Year award after an outstanding debut during the 2023-24 season.

Moment of the Year - Male

Jawhar Jordan led 10-4 Louisville Football with 1,128 yards and scored 13 touchdowns during the 2023 season. He is the winner of this year's male Moment of the Year.

Moment of the Year - Female

Taylor Roby set a Louisville Softball program single-season home run record with 23 and finished her career atop the home run leaders list. Roby is the winner of this year's female Moment of the Year.

Team Moment of the Year

Louisville Football defeated No. 10 Notre Dame in front of the first sellout crowd of the Jeff Brohm era on Oct. 7, 2023, earning the award for Team Moment of the Year.
