Louisville is 6-4 in true road games so far this season
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The No. 20 Louisville women's basketball team is heading down to Atlanta for a midweek clash with Georgia Tech as the regular season is winding down. With just four regular season games left, the next two weeks will determine seeding for the 2024 ACC Women's Championship. The Cardinals and Yellow Jackets will square off at 6 p.m. ET on Thursday from McCamish Pavilion and it will be aired nationally on the ACC Network.
The Cardinals have had success on the road this season and are coming off a 69-67 win at Boston College this past Thursday in their most recent road win. In conference play, the Cardinals have road wins over Miami, Pitt, Clemson and Boston College. In the win over the Hurricanes, the Cardinals snapped a 17-game home winning streak for Miami.
The Cardinals have been able to bounce back quickly following a loss this season and during Jeff Walz's tenure. Over the past 17 years, Louisville is 90-24 following a loss and they are even better after a loss against an ACC opponent. The Cardinals are 24-3 following a loss against an ACC team and have only lost back-to-back ACC games three times over the past 10 seasons. So far this season, the Cards are 5-0 after a loss and 3-0 against ACC teams.
