November 13, 2024 | Women's Golf
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — University of Louisville women's golf head coach Whitney Young and her staff are pleased to announce two signees for the 2025 recruiting class. Emree Cameron (Nevada, Mo.) and Madison Moman (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) are set to join the Cardinals next season.
Emree joins the Cardinals from Nevada, Missouri, where she had a very successful prep career. She has totaled 88 junior golf event wins and 26 high school event wins while competing at Nevada High School. She is a two-time Missouri State High School Champion, four-time district champion and a four-time All-State and honoree. She also holds five different state records, the first golfer from Nevada HS to have five or more state records. She was named a 2024 USA Today top 25 High School Golfer and was the 2024 AJGA Mizuno Junior Champion.
Madison joins the Cardinals from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and has had a lot of success early in her career. She was in the national spotlight as a youth as she made an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jordan Spieth and Jason Day. She also had a full page article in Golf Digest along with appearing in a Citibank commercial with Justin Thomas. On the course, she has qualified for five USGA events while winning six FSGA events. Two of her wins came within a week and she won each of them wire-to-wire. She has tallied four runner-up finishes and five Top-5 finishes, including the 2024 FSGA 30th Women's Amateur.
