
All-Girl Cheer Squad Wins NCA Championship

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The University of Louisville All-Girl Cheerleaders won their 19th NDA/NCA Collegiate Champioship to headline the Cardinals' competition this week at the Daytona Beach Bandshell and Oceanfront Park Complex.

Louisville's All-Girl squad, coached by Misty Hodges, edged Oklahoma State and Clemson for the top spot and the 19th championship overall, defending their crown from a year ago. There were just two points difference between first and fourth place.

The Small Co-Ed finished second in their division behind NC State.
The Ladybirds were second in the Team Performance, trailing only South Carolina by just .5 of a point.
The LadyBirds finished 11th in the Jazz Finals, which was won by BYU.
The Ladybirds' Hip Hop performance made the finals which will be held on Saturday at 12:20. UofL will battle, BYU, Boise State, South Carolina, Louisiana-Monroe, Syracuse, FSU, Florida Atlantic, Ohio State and Ball State.
Partner Stunts and a team championship will also be contested tomorrow.Â
