Cardinals Finish T7th at ACC Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The University of Louisville women's golf team finished in a tie for seventh at the ACC Championships, carding an overall score of 29-over (893).
Hana Ryskova and Rylee Suttor led the way for the Cards, finishing in a tie for 19th individually. Both individuals carded scores of 4-over (220). This marks a season-best finish for Ryskova who carded individual round scores of 71-76-73.
Suttor saved her best round for last, scoring 73-75-72 throughout the tournament. This marks her second time in the top-20 so far this season.
Mairead Martin finished in a tie for 39th with single round scores of 75-77-75 (227). Carmen Griffiths tied for 43rd and saw a three-stroke improvement from the first round, carding scores of 78-75-75 (228). Ryann Honea, who was substituted in for the second round, carded single round scores of 75-80.
Wake Forest, Duke, Clemson, and Virginia finished in the top four, respectively, and will advance to the ACC Match Play semifinals to determine the team champion.
The Cardinals will return to action in the NCAA Regionals which will begin on May 8. The location and field of teams will be determined during a selection show later on this month.
