
Women’s Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon Set for Oct. 23

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The annual University of Louisville Women's Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon presented by Stockton Mortgage will take place on Monday, Oct. 23 in the Grand Ballroom of the Galt House Hotel.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and the event begins at noon.
Tickets are $45 each, or tables for 10 are available for $450, and can be purchased at GoCards.com/WBBTipOff. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Louisville opens the 2023-24 campaign at Cincinnati on Monday, November 6 and the home opener is set for Sunday, November 12 against DePaul.
The Cardinals are coming off the 2022-23 campaign where they reached the ACC Tournament championship game for the fourth time in program history and reached the Elite Eight for the fifth-straight tournament. The Cardinals are the only team in the country that has made each of the last five Elite Eights.
This past summer, the 2023-24 Cardinals took part in the 2023 GLOBL JAM tournament in Toronto and came home with some hardware. Graduate transfer Sydney Taylor hit the game-winning three in the final minute of the gold medal game against Canada to clinch gold for the Cards and she was named tournament MVP.
