UofL men's tennis falls to opponents in singles and doubles in Rounds of 16
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Louisville finishes up play at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship on Saturday.
UofL men's tennis bowed out of the tournament in the Round of 16 for both doubles and singles. Fifth year senior Etienne Donnet fell to his opponent from Middle Tennessee after a tiebreaker in the second set.
Donnet paired up with Natan Rodrigues for the doubles portion of the tournament. The duo advanced to the Round of 16 before falling to Ryan Cahill and Pascal Mosberger of Xavier.
The freshmen duo of Kosuke Nakanishi and Miguel Avendaño had a strong ITA debut, getting all the way to the top 16 teams. They were defeated by Pablo Alemany and Charlie Berry of Memphis on Saturday morning.
A few Cardinal individuals will next compete in the ITF M15 Tournaments in either Tallahassee, Fla., or Norman, Okla., beginning on Monday, October 23.

Marcel Kamrowski (Middle Tennessee) def. Etienne Donnet 6-2, 7-6 (7-4)
