Beyond the Buzzer Hosts Student-Athlete Career Fair

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Beyond the Buzzer, the University of Louisville student-athlete development initiative, hosted the student-Athlete Career Fair on October 11 in the PNC Club at L&N Stadium.

The Student-Athlete Career Fair promotes connection and nurtures relationships between student-athletes and employers in various industries, allowing student-athletes to explore professional internships and full-time career opportunities at a local, regional, and national level. The event hosted 36 companies and over 93 professionals. Each employer was able to share in-depth information with student-athletes on how they can get involved with their perspective companies.

"The Career Fair is a great opportunity for student-athletes to talk with local employers and build relationships for life after athletics," said Adora Hicks, PhD, the Career Fair organizer. "We know that creating opportunities like this can set our student-athletes up for a successful start to their career."
