Home Games Highlight Fall Softball Schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville softball head coach Holly Aprile has announced the Cardinals' 2022 fall schedule. The Cards will stay home for fall ball as four of the five dates are set to take place at Ulmer Stadium. Admission is free to all home games.

The fall slate opens with a doubleheader and cross-town showdown against Bellarmine. The first pitch takes place at noon on Sept. 25 at Ulmer Stadium with the second game to follow. Louisville will continue its home stretch hosting Eastern Kentucky at noon in a doubleheader on Oct. 8. The Cardinals will then play host to in-state rival the Kentucky on Oct. 9 at 1 p.m.

Indiana University will come to Louisville on the ensuing weekend to conclude the four-game home stretch for the Cardinals as the doubleheader starts at 4:30 p.m. on October 14.

Wrapping up the fall season, the Cards will travel to Lexington, Kentucky Oct. 29 to face the Wildcats at 6 p.m.Â

The UofL softball team posted a 27-25 overall record in the midst of a challenging schedule that was ranked 18th in the nation and earned the No. 8 seed in the ACC Championship.
• The Cardinals will return 14 letterwinners and seven starters from last year's team including two-time NFCA All-Southeast Region selection Taylor Roby and ACC All-Freshman honoree Korbe Otis. Louisville also welcomes six newcomers to the 2022-23 roster.
