
Cards Fly Past Boston College

Chestnut Hill, Ma. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team defeated Boston College 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Margot Connell Recreation Center.
The 25th-ranked Cardinals improve to 17-7 (9-3 ACC) with the win and have won the most games in a regular season since the 2018-19 season.
Boston College grabbed the momentum early in the match, winning 7-5 at the No. 2 spot and 6-2 on court 3 in doubles to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles.
Louisville evened the score when Matthew Fung bested Connor McDonald 6-3, 6-4 at the No. 6 spot. Tin Chen defeated Matt Campbell 6-2, 6-2 on court 2 to put the Cardinals ahead for good. Louisville extended its lead to 4-1 after Natan Rodrigues defeated Juan Jose Bianchi 6-1, 6-2 and No. 91 Etienne Donnet rolled past Max Motlagh 6-1, 6-2.
David Mizrahi outlasted Jake Vassel 6-3, 7-6 at the No. 5 spot and Sergio Hernandez rallied to defeat Oliver Worth 6-7, 6-3, 1-0 to clinch the 6-1 win for Louisville.
Up next, Louisville hosts Belmont for its final home match of the regular season on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
