Cards Finish 10th at the Liz Murphy Collegiate Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Kendall Griffin fired a final round 74 to lead the University of Louisville women's golf team to a 10th-place finish at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on Sunday on the UGA Course.
The Cardinals finished at 49-over-par after shooting 300-304-309=913. South Carolina took home the tournament championship, while Texas A&M was second and Wake Forest was third.
Griffin, who was in contention after the first day, dropped into a tie for 16thafter shooting 72-78-74=224.
Mairead Martin shot the round of the day after carding a 1-over 73 to tie for 33rd.The highlight of the day came on the third hole when she aced the hole.
Hana Ryskova tied for 43rd after shooting 71-76-84=231, while Carmen Griffiths and Lauren Thibodeau ended the tournament in a tie for 59thafter shooting 236 over the three-day event.
The Cardinals return to action on April 3-4 at the Wolfpack Match Play event in Raleigh, N.C.
