
Cardinals in First at Olde Stone Intercollegiate

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's golf team finished round one and most of round two of the Olde Stone Intercollegiate in first place overall. The second round ended before all teams finished due to a lack of day light.
In the first round, the Cardinals sat in fourth on the leaderboard, with Carmen Griffiths and Mairead Martin in a tie for second. The pair shot 1-under-par 71 in round one and the Cardinals carded an overall score of 10-over-par 298 in round one.
Louisville was able to play through hole 15 before the second round ended and Griffiths rose to first overall in the individual rankings shooting 3-under-par. She is three strokes in front of the second place individual.
The second round will finish tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. ET, followed by the start of round three.
