Fall Softball Schedule Announced

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville head softball coach Holly Aprile has announced the Cardinals' 2021 fall softball schedule which includes four dates on the road and two contests at Ulmer Stadium. UofL home games are open to the public and admission is free for both the stadium and the outfield berm.

Louisville will spend the first four weekends of the fall slate on the road, starting with a Sept. 12 doubleheader at Eastern Kentucky. The following week, the Cards will travel to Lexington, Ky., to face in-state rival Kentucky. The fall road swing will continue on Sept. 26 when the Cards take on Tennessee in Knoxville.
The first Saturday in October will feature a trip to Bloomington, Ind., to face Indiana.
The Cardinals will take the field at home on Friday, Oct. 8 when they play host to cross-town rival Bellarmine. Louisville will wrap up the fall season with the Red/Black Scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 10 at Ulmer Stadium.

Louisville returns 17 players from last year's team including National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-All-Southeast and All-ACC selections Carmyn Greenwood and Taylor Roby. The Cardinals also welcome seven newcomers to the 2022 squad.
