Funke Named to ACC Softball Championship All-Tournament Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville's Celene Funke was named to the 2021 ACC Softball All-Tournament team as announced by the league following Saturday's championship game.
Funke, a graduate senior from Carmel, Ind., Louisville in its quarterfinal game against eventual tournament champion Duke, going a 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI in her final game as a Cardinal at Ulmer Stadium.
The speedy centerfielder finished her career ranked second on Louisville's list for career triples (22) and stolen bases (74). Her 121 career runs scored place her 10th on UofL's all-time list. She also owns the school single season record for triples with 13 in the 2019 campaign and stands second in stolen bases after swiping 29 that same year.
