
No. 1 Louisville Hosts Notre Dame on Sunday

The Cardinals and the Fighting Irish will tip off at 2 p.m. E.T. on ESPN and 790-AM WKRD.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's basketball returns to the KFC Yum! Center to host Notre Dame (8-7, 6-5) on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET. The game will broadcast on ESPN and 790-AM WKRD.

Coming off its first loss of the season, No. 1 Louisville (17-1, 10-1) rebounded with a 97-68 win at Boston College on Thursday night. Dana Evans led the way with 23 points, five assists, four rebounds, three steals and zero turnovers in the win.

Five players scored in double figures on Thursday, which followed just Evans reaching double figures in the loss to No. 4 NC State.

The Cards shot 56.9 percent at BC, which is third best mark this season and fifth time they have shot above 50 percent. They shot 10-23 (.435) from 3-point range.

Louisville is shooting 48.2 percent on the year, which ranks second in the ACC, ninth in country, and is tied for the best field goal percentage in program history. They shot a program-best 48.2 percent in 2017-18.

The Cards are shooting 105-252 (.417) from deep in their last 11 games. In six of the last eight games, they have shot above 40 percent from 3-point range and are 79-187 (.422) in those games.
