
Louisville Releases Women's Soccer Spring Schedule

The Cardinals will play five regular season matches, including two at Lynn Stadium.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's soccer released its spring schedule on Thursday, which includes five regular season matches and two home matches at Lynn Stadium.
Louisville opens the regular season at Dayton on March 6 and then hosts Auburn in its home opener on March 20.
The Cardinals remain in the Bluegrass State the following week when they travel to Bowling Green, Ky. to face Western Kentucky on March 27 and then host Tennessee on April 10.
Louisville wraps the 2021 regular season slate with a neutral site match against ACC rival Wake Forest in Johnson City, Tenn. on April 17.
Following the spring slate, 48 teams will be selected to play in the NCAA Tournament with the 2021 Women's College Cup taking place May 13-17.
This past fall, the Cardinals went 4-5 and fell in the first round of the 2020 ACC Tournament.
With the loss of Ekic to the NWSL, Louisville will be led by redshirt senior goalkeeper Gabby Kouzelos and junior Delaney Snyder. Kouzelos was named All-ACC third team in the fall after finishing with four shutouts and a save percentage of .788.
Snyder led the Cardinals with four assists, while adding one goal on eight shots in the fall.
Attendance will be socially distanced and limited to the south seating area of Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium. The west end, north berm, playground and Boyle-ing Point seating areas will be closed. Tickets will not be made available to the general public. Tickets will only be available to guests of Louisville student-athletes, coaches and visiting team, along with a limited number for UofL students.
