
Louisville Moves Up to No. 2 in Latest AP Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After opening the season with wins in its first four games, including a record-breaking 116-75 win over No. 20 DePaul Friday, Louisville women's basketball has moved up three spots to No. 2 in the latest Associated Press poll.
It matches Louisville's highest ever ranking in the AP poll.
Five other times Louisville has been ranked second in the AP poll, once last season, three times in 2018-19 and once in 2017-18.

Last season, UofL moved up six spots in the AP poll to No. 2 following their win over No. 1 Oregon.

Louisville opens Atlantic Coast Conference play at Duke on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.
