
Cochran, Van Lith Named McDonald’s All-Americans

Olivia Cochran and Hailey Van Lith will play in the McDonald’s All-American game on April 1 in Houston.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's basketball signees Olivia Cochran and Hailey Van Lith have been named McDonald's All-Americans.
The 43rd annual McDonald's All-American Girls Game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1 from the Toyota Center in Houston.
Cochran comes to Louisville as the No. 18-ranked player in the class of 2020, according to espnW HoopGurlz. The five-star prospect is tabbed as the fourth-best player at the forward position. Prospects Nation ranks her No. 10 overall and as the third-best forward, while she is ranked No. 26 by PASS Scouting Service.
Cochran was named a first team Class 4-A All-State selection by the Atlanta Journal Constitution in 2018 and 2019, while being named honorable mention as a freshman in 2017. She was also named Georgia Class 4A All-State in 2018 and 2019. She was named Ledger-Enquirer All-Bi-City Player of the Year in 2019, while also being named to the first team in 2018 and 2019 and the second team in 2017.
Van Lith is ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the nation by Prospect Nation and No. 8 overall and the top guard by espnW HoopGurlz. She was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Washington last season.
She has also been named USA Today All-USA first team, All-USA Washington first team (2019), Naismith High School All-America honorable mention (2019), Washington Interscholastic Activities Association Class 1A MVP (2018, 2019), Washington State Class 1A Player of the Year (2018, 2019) and WIAA All-State Class 1A first team (2017, 2018, 2019).
Kylee Shook, Dana Evans and Nyah Green were all named McDonald's All-Americans prior to signing with Louisville.
