
18-Game ACC Slate Completes Louisville’s 2019-20 Schedule

The Cardinals open their ACC schedule at home against Syracuse.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's basketball's 18-game Atlantic Coast Conference schedule was released on Tuesday, completing its 2019-20 schedule. Fourteen of the Cardinals' ACC games will be televised by national or regional networks.
Louisville's sixth season in the 15-team ACC and the league's first with an 18-game schedule includes two games each against Boston College, Notre Dame, Pitt and Syracuse.
Arguably the top conference for women's basketball, the ACC saw eight teams win 20-plus games in 2018-19. In addition, eight ACC squads earned berths in the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship.
Last season, the Cardinals produced a second consecutive 30-win season with a 32-4 record. They entered the NCAA Tournament as a No. 1 seed for the second straight year and advanced to the Elite Eight for the fifth time in program history.
The Cardinals went 14-2 in ACC play to win their second straight regular season title and are a combined 68-12 in ACC play their five years in the league.
UofL opens the ACC slate with alternating home and away games. The Cardinals host Syracuse on Dec. 29, play at Clemson on Jan. 2, host Duke on Jan. 5, travel to Miami on Jan. 9, host Wake Forest on Jan. 12 and visit Boston College on Jan. 16.
After playing at North Carolina on Jan. 19, Louisville hosts back-to-back home games against Virginia (Jan. 23) and Pittsburgh (Jan. 26) before traveling to South Bend, Ind., to face Notre Dame on Jan. 30.
The month of February opens with a home contest against Florida State on Feb. 6 before the Cardinals hit the road to face Syracuse (Feb. 9) and NC State (Feb. 13). The Fighting Irish return to the KFC Yum! Center on Feb. 16 and then the Cardinals hit the road against Georgia Tech (Feb. 20) and Pittsburgh (Feb. 23).
Louisville closes out the regular season with back-to-back home games against Boston College (Feb. 27) and Virginia Tech (March 1).
The ACC Women's Basketball Tournament will be held at Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C., March 4-8.
A minimum of eight of Louisville's conference games will air on the ACC Network, the new 24/7 national platform that launched on August 22. Fans can go to www.GetACCN.com to see if their provider is currently scheduled to carry the ACC Network. If a provider is not listed, fans are encouraged to contact them and request the ACCN.
