Cardinals Participate in Norton Children's Hospital Splash 'n' Dash
August 06, 2019 | Beyond the Buzzer
Student-athletes from women's soccer, rowing and cheer and dance participated in the annual event
LOUISVILLE, Ky. –University of Louisville student-athletes had fun in the sun – and water - for a charitable cause. Members of the rowing, women's soccer along with the cheer and dance teams spent time volunteering at the Norton Children's Hospital's Splash 'n' Dash 5K on August 3 at the Louisville Waterfront Park.
As part of the event, runners and walkers chose to splash their way through a 5K course or a kid-friendly 1K course filled with fun and refreshing ways to cool off in splash zones.
The Splash 'n' Dash 5K, which was held for the fifth-consecutive year, benefits the life-saving care available to the more than 170,000 children at Norton Children's Hospital and Norton Children's facilities, regardless of their families' ability to pay
