
Men's Golf Earns Team Academic Award

The Cardinals put four players on the ACC Academic team this season.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - After four members of the team earned all-Atlantic Coast Academic honors, the University of Louisville men's golf team also was recognized for its outstanding performance in the classroom this year.
Louisville was one of 199 teams to earn the recognition by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Thursday for earning a grade point average of 3.0 or better.
The Cardinals joined Duke, Boston College, Florida State, North Carolina, and Virginia as the only teams in the ACC to capture academic acknowledgement.
Senior Simon Zach, juniors Devin Morley and John Murphy, and sophomore Matthias Schmid earned academic accolades by the league this season.
On the course, the Cardinals concluded a successful season by advancing to the NCAA Championships for the fourth time in school history, finishing 29th overall.
