The Cardinals achieved a collective 3.37 grade-point average for the 2019 spring semester.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After concluding the 2018-19 season with a 32-4 record and the program's fifth trip to the NCAA Elite Eight, grade point averages from the 2019 spring semester reflect that the Cardinals have excelled in the classroom, as well.
The Cardinals achieved a collective 3.372 grade-point average for the 2019 spring semester, the fourth highest GPA in the Jeff Walz era. This marks the 10th straight semester that women's basketball has earned better than a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
In addition, 12 student-athletes earned a 3.0 or better GPA, while five made the Dean's List for earning above a 3.5 GPA.
The Cardinals put together a 3.311 GPA for the 2018-19 academic year, the third highest in the Walz era.
Arica Carter, Asia Durr and Sam Fuehring all graduated last weekend. Carter, who already had completed a B.S. in Exercise Science, finished her second degree, a B.A. in Psychology. Durr graduated with a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Sport Administration, while Fuehring graduated with a B.S. in Sport Administration with a minor in Communication.
