Asia Durr Named espnW All-America First Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville senior guard Asia Durr continues to rack up accolades as she was named espnW All-America first team as announced by espnW.com.
She is joined by Iowa's Megan Gustafson, Connecticut's Napheesa Collier, Mississippi State's Teaira McCowan and Oregon's Sabrina Ionescu on the first team.
"No player in the country can erupt like Durr, as evidenced by the two 47-point games in her career," said espnW's Charlie Creme. "The two-time ACC player of the Year scores from anywhere on the floor. She led the league in scoring and was third with 2.8 3-point field goals per game, lifting the Cardinals to a share of their second straight regular-season ACC championship."
Last week, Durr was selected ACC Player of the Year for the second straight season. She was also named Kay Yow ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and All-ACC First Team for the third time.
She ranks 15th in the country with 21.3 points per game and 35th with 2.8 3-point field goals per game. She ranks second all-time in Louisville program history with 2,404 points and 365 3-point field goals.Â
