
Asia Durr Named Finalist for Dawn Staley Award

The Dawn Staley Award recognizes the most outstanding guard in the country.
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - University of Louisville senior guard Asia Durr is one of four finalists for the Dawn Staley Award, which recognizes the top guard in the country.
Durr is joined by Sabrina Ionescu, University of Oregon, Arike Ogunbowale, University of Notre Dame and Cierra Dilliard, University of Buffalo.
"The Dawn Staley Award is given to the most outstanding collegiate guard in the country, a player who exemplifies the skills that Dawn possessed during her career (ball handling, scoring, her ability to distribute the basketball and her will to win)," says Michael G. Horsey, Founder of the Phoenix Club of Philadelphia.
Dawn Staley will present the award during the Phoenix Club of Philadelphia's Dawn Staley Award reception Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the prestigious Union League of Philadelphia.
