2019 Softball Promotion Schedule Released

The University of Louisville has announced the 2019 softball promotional schedule as the Cardinals enter their 20th season at Ulmer Stadium and their fifth season in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The 22-game home schedule features giveaways, special offers and promotions combined with the fun and excitement of Louisville Softball as it competes in its 20^th season as a program. Promotions and game times are subject to change. A list of season-long promotions and special events are listed below, while additional details on all Louisville softball promotions are available here.

The Cardinals will open the home season on March 1-2 when they welcome Indiana State, IUPUI and Missouri to Ulmer Stadium for the Cardinal Classic. Admission is free.

CARDINAL CLASSIC: MARCH 1-2
Friday, March 1 vs Indiana State (10:30 a.m.)
Rise and Shine Card Nation!! It's our home opener at Ulmer Stadium! Come out to snag your 2019 Louisville Softball Schedule poster.

Friday, March 1 vs Missouri (2:30 p.m.)
Put on your best Louisville gear and come cheer on the Cards during their game against Missouri. Louisville Softball schedule posters will be available at marketing table.

Saturday, March 2 vs Indiana State (10:30 a.m.)
The first 100 fans to arrive early will receive a free set of hand warmers!

Saturday, March 2 vs IUPUI (4:30 p.m.)
Stick around for the last game of the Cardinal Classic. Cards take on the Jaguars and the first 150 fans will receive a free 16oz Louisville Softball Cup with voucher to redeem a free hot chocolate at the concession stand.

Tuesday, March 6 vs Lipscomb (3 p.m.)
Join us for a weekday game at Ulmer Stadium! Be one of the first 50 fans to receive a Louisville Softball headband, while supplies last.

Tuesday, March 12 vs Morehead State (4 p.m. & 6 p.m.)
We would like to invite ALL faculty and staff out to our game to show our appreciation for everything you have done for our program! We hope to see you there.

Friday, March 15 vs Syracuse (6 p.m.)
Cards will take on Syracuse for the ACC Home Opening series. To start St. Patrick's Day celebration, there will be $3 green beer available at concessions.

Saturday, March 16 vs Syracuse (1 p.m.)
Come out for game two of the ACC Series against Syracuse.

Sunday, March 17 vs Syracuse (12 p.m.)
The first 50 fans will receive a FREE Louisville Softball Autograph poster.
• Stick around for a post-game autograph session with the Louisville Softball team along the first baseline! $5 meal deal and bounce house will be available to fans.

Wednesday, March 26 vs Indiana (5 p.m.)
Cards vs Hoosiers. Battle of the Border at Ulmer Stadium. Be there one of the first 100 fans to receive a free Louisville Softball hat.

Saturday, April 6 vs Florida State (1 p.m.)
Cards kick off their three-game series against ACC opponent and 2018 national champion Florida State. We are welcoming back our alumnae and recognizing that this season marks Louisville Softball's 20th season.

Sunday, April 7 vs Florida State (1 p.m.)
It's a PINK OUT at Ulmer Stadium! Come out as we raise awareness and support all who have been affected by Breast Cancer.
• Also bring your loved ones to Ulmer Stadium for a Date at the Diamond! Stay tuned for the details but you do not want to miss out on this awesome day.
• Be sure to arrive early to snag a Louisville softball team autograph poster while supplies last.
• Check out the concession stand to grab a $5 meal deal or use the bounce house along the first base line.

Monday, April 8 vs. Florida State (7 p.m.)
PACK THE HOUSE! Let's paint Ulmer Stadium red as we take on defending national champion Florida State on ESPNU.
• It's also Future's Night at Ulmer Stadium, so bring your teams out to Ulmer for a fun night as the Cards take on the Seminoles.

Wednesday, April 17 vs Kentucky (6pm)
Gear up for a RED OUT! Help pack the house, as the Cards battle in-state rival Kentucky.
• Do you have any UK shirts? Bring one of them to this game to exchange it for a U of L shirt at the marketing table! Admission for the Battle of the Bluegrass will be $5. Call 1-502-GO-CARDS for more information.

Friday, April 19 vs Georgia Tech (6 p.m.)
Come out to Ulmer Stadium and cheer on the Cards! It's Craft Beer Night, come check out local vendors' favorite beers.

Saturday, April 20 vs Georgia Tech (1 p.m.)
On Service Awareness Day, join Louisville Softball in recognizing all veterans, active duty military and first responders at the game.

Sunday, April 21 vs Georgia Tech (12 p.m.)
It's an EGGcellent day to come out to Ulmer Stadium!! Stick around, kids 12 & under will be able to participate in a post-game Easter Egg Hunt! The first 100 kids 12 & under will receive a free Louisville Softball tote.
• Don't forget about the $5 meal deal available at concessions, bounce house and post game autograph session with the team along the first baseline.

Sunday, April 26 vs North Carolina (6 p.m.)
VIP (aka Very Important Professor Night) with the Cards! We are showing our appreciation to all who have helped our student-athletes become successful in the classroom.

Saturday, April 27 vs North Carolina (1 p.m.)
Help the Cardinals recognize Louisville Softball's seniors. Arrive early to Ulmer Stadium for a special pregame ceremony for the 2019 senior class.

Sunday, April 28 vs North Carolina (12 p.m.)
Bring your four-legged friends for Dog at the park day. Fans that bring a furry friend to the game can purchase $2 hot dogs at concessions stands. Dogs are allowed ONLY in berm area in the outfield.
• Check out concessions for discounted items available.
• To wrap up the final home stand, come get an autograph from the Louisville Softball team along the first baseline.

National Anthem Buddies: Teams 8th grade and under can register to be the team of the game and be a part of starting lineups and the National Anthem buddies on the field during pre-game. Email chelsea@gocards.com for more information.

Foul-Ball Return: Return foul balls to the marketing table to be exchanged for a Louisville prize.

Junior Announcer: During an inning of the game, 8th grade or below kids will be chosen from the crowd to be our guest announcer of the game.

What's In Your Pocket: During the game, we will announce a random every-day item. If you have them item in your pocket or with you, be the first to bring it to the marketing table to get a prize.

Post-game autographs: Immediately following ALL Sunday's games, fans are encouraged to line up by the pavilion along the first base dugout for post-game autographs with the team.
