Chen Reaches ITA/Ohio Valley Regional Singles Final

Junior Tin Chen continues his run at the ITA/Ohio Valley Regional
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Louisville's Tin Chen continued his singles run through the Intercollegiate Tennis Association/Ohio Valley Regional, picking up two more wins to advance to Monday's championship match where he will take on Indiana's Bennett Crane at 11 a.m.
In his quarterfinal match, Chen (Pintung, Taiwan), a junior transfer from ASA Miami rebounded from a 6-3 first-set loss to Memphis' Jeremy Taylor, winning the next two sets 6-3, 6-2 to move to the semifinals where he topped Memphis' James Story 6-2, 6-4.
Chen has now won six straight singles matches in the tournament and carries a team-best 13-1 overall singles mark.
