ESPN to Televise UofL's Home Contest Versus UConn

The game will air as part of ESPN's Thursday Night Showcase.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – It was announced today that the University of Louisville's home contest versus Connecticut on Thursday, Jan. 31 will be televised on ESPN. It will air as part of ESPN's Thursday Night Showcase.
It marks the first time that Louisville has hosted the 11-time national champion since 2014, their first and only season in the American Athletic Conference.
Last season, the Cardinals made the trip to Storrs, Conn. in early February. After falling behind early, Louisville rallied to pull within 11 and eventually fell 69-58.
After missing her first five shots, Asia Durr finished with a team-high 20 points in the contest.
Louisville returns four starters from a team that finished a school-record 36-3 and advanced to the program's third ever final four a year ago.
Women's basketball season tickets may be purchased by visiting the UofL Ticket Office, located near Gate 2 of Cardinal Stadium at 2800 South Floyd Street, on weekdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. or by calling 502-852-5151.
