Farrel wins 2018 Gatorade/CSCCa Young Achievement Award

Zach Farrel is in his seventh year as a full-time sports performance coach.
This award recognizes an outstanding up-and-coming strength and conditioning coach who has proven his/her dedication to impacting athletic performance with safe and effective science-based methods. It is presented annually by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches' Association, in partnership with Gatorade, to a certified coach with no more than 10 years of experience in the field.
Farrel is in his seventh year as a full-time coach with the Louisville Sports Performance program, having also served as a graduate assistant for two years from 2009-11. He is the lead performance coach for baseball, men's Tennis, and the track and field program's throws group.
Farrel also leads the Strength & Power Team (part of their Team of Teams approach) within the sports performance program, and plays an integral role with its international mentorship program.
