LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville junior Asia Durr continues to rack up accolades as she was named espnWÂ All-America second team as announced by espnW.com.
Durr, who was named ACC Player of the Year after leading the conference in 3-point field goals made and 3-point field goal percentage, was named USA Today All-America first team and College Sports Madness All-America second team last week.
She ranks 52nd in the country with 18.8 points per game, 14th with 102 made threes, 19th with a 42.5 3-pt FG percentage and 19th with 3.1 threes per game. She has a team-high 27 double-digit scoring games this season, including 14 20-point games and four 30-point games.Â
In the 95-90 win over Ohio State in early November, she scored 47 points to set the school record previously held by Angel McCoughtry. She scored 17 points in both the first half and the second half and then erupted for 13 of the Cardinals' 15 points in overtime to seal the victory. She finished the game 16-of-29 from the floor, 9-of-15 from three-point range and 6-of-6 from the free throw line. Her nine three-pointers tied the school record, set by Shoni Schimmel against Memphis in 2014.
After winning the ACC regular season and tournament titles, No. 3 Louisville women's basketball (32-2) now awaits the NCAA Selection Show on Monday, March 12 to determine their path to the 2018 Final Four in Columbus, Ohio.Â
