
No. 4 Women's Basketball Hosts Clemson on Wednesday Night

The Cardinals return home after getting big road wins at Virginia and Syracuse last week.
37,001 fans have attended the last three games at the KFC Yum! Center, an average of 12,333 per game. It is the largest three-game attendance since they had 37,259 total fans at the Pitt, North Carolina and Boston College games in 2014-15.
Junior Asia Durr was named ACC Player of the Week for the fourth time this season after averaging 24.0 points in the wins over Virginia and Syracuse. She was also named to the Wooden Award Late Season Top 20.
Senior Myisha Hines-Allen continues to impress as she has eight double-doubles in her last 10 games and now has 12 on the season, which ranks 14th in the country and is tied for the league lead. She is averaging a double-double on the season with 14.4 points and 10.3 rebounds.
ABOUT THE TIGERS
Clemson enters Wednesday's game with five straight losses, all of which have been by double digits. Their lone win in conference play was a 65-61 double overtime victory against Boston College.
The Tigers average 51.6 points per game, which ranks last in the ACC, but defensively they rank at the top of the league in several categories. They lead the league in 3-point field goal percentage defense at 28.5 percent, rank second with 5.2 blocks per game and fifth in scoring defense at 59.1 percent.
Sophomore Kobi Thornton is the lone player in double figures, as she averages 10.5 points per game. Her 6.9 rebounds per game rank 14th in the league and her 1.6 blocks rank sixth. Junior Danielle Edwards is second on the team with 9.5 points per game and she ranks third in the ACC with 2.7 steals.

UofL is 4-3 all-time against Clemson and has won the last four games since joining the ACC. All three of their losses came prior to 1993. Last season, the Cards won both contests. They won at Clemson on Jan. 26, 2017, 60-46, and then won in the ACC Tournament on March 2, 2017, 68-46. They won 75-33 on Jan. 28, 2016 in their only other matchup at the KFC Yum! Center.
