Louisville guard attends event on ESPN campus for second-consecutive season
BRISTOL, Conn. – University of Louisville women's basketball senior guard Asia Durr was one of seven collegiate players invited to Women's Basketball National Media Day Wednesday morning at the ESPN campus. This is the second-consecutive season that Durr has been invited to Media Day festivities.
Durr's schedule featured a pair of sit-down interviews with ESPN's Rebecca Lobo and Holly Rowe, as well as a press conference with national media members. Earlier in the day, she appeared on the "Around the Rim" podcast with LaChina Robinson and took part in photoshoots and media sessions with ESPN, Associated Press, NCAA Social and The Undefeated.
Durr was joined at the event by Kalani Brown (Baylor), Chennedy Carter (Texas A&M), Sabrina Ionescu (Oregon), Arika Ogunboale (Notre Dame), Kate Lou Samuelson (Connecticut) and Teaira McCowan (Mississippi State). The event also featured coaches, including Geno Auriemma (Connecticut), Muffet McGraw (Notre Dame) and Vic Schaefer (Mississippi State).
