The Cardinals and Blue Devils will tip off at 7 p.m. ET.
The Cardinals (16-0, 2-0) are coming off of wins at Georgia Tech and NC State to move to 16-0 on the season, which marks the best start in program history. They are one of four undefeated teams and their 16 wins are the most in the country. Their 16 straight wins also tie the best winning streak in program history. They also won 16 straight games from Dec. 3, 2013 to Feb. 4, 2014.
Junior guard Asia Durr was named ACC Player of the Week after averaging 27.5 points per game in road wins at Georgia Tech and NC State.
In the 74-71 win over Georgia Tech, she had 27 first half points, including 20 in the second quarter, to help the Cards turn a nine-point deficit into a 12-point halftime lead. She finished 15-of-25 from the field, 4-of-8 from deep and 4-of-5 from the stripe in 37 minutes to lead the Cards.
She then followed that with 18 points, while knocking down three 3-pointers to extend her streak to 54 consecutive games with a made 3-pointer, to help the Cards to a 55-47 win at NC State.
She has scored in double figures in her last eight games and has 12 double-digit scoring games this season, including six 20-point games. She has made at least three 3-pointers in her last five games and is 20-of-36 from deep during that stretch.
Senior forward Myisha Hines-Allen hit the game-winner on a running layup with two seconds remaining in the win at Georgia Tech on Thursday. She then recorded a big block, ran the length of the floor, and made a crucial layup late in the NC State win after the Wolfpack had trimmed the lead to four points.
She averages 13.8 points per game on the season, which ranks second on the team, and her 9.4 rebounds rank third in the ACC. She leads the ACC with 6.6 defensive rebounds per game.
She finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds at NC State for her fifth double-double of the season and the 34th of her career, which moves her into second place all-time in school history.
