Postgame Notes (Wake Forest – January 28)
(Is there anything you Asia have talked about after the past couple games where she hasn't been playing at the same level?)
Â
"No, she just had some good looks at the end that did not go in. She had some really good looks in Miami where the ball just didn't go in. We just said keep being aggressive and keep attacking. Our kids did a really good job, Dana and Arica found her early and got two really good looks for her and she knocked them both down. When you do that, that's confidence, and that's what she had."
Â
(On Wake Forest's 13 offensive rebounds)
"We were really concerned about their offensive rebounding. They are second in the league with offensive boards, and they still ended up with 13 of them. But, they only had two second chance points off those 13 offensive boards. I was really pleased with what were able to do from that end."
Â
(On the win)
"It was a really good win for us, it was nice being able to get as many minutes as we were for everybody. We've been playing the top six, or upper seven a lot of minutes as of late, so this was good to get the bench in there and get them some runs in because we're going to need to them. We have a huge week on the road at Virginia and at Syracuse, which are going to be battles. Virginia, who I believe won today, and I think they are 8-1 in the league right now also. So, you are playing for a share of first place on the road."
