
No. 4 Women's Basketball Travels to Face Miami on Thursday

The Cardinals and Hurricanes will tip off at 11 a.m. ET.
Despite the loss, the Cardinals' 20-0 start marks the best start and the longest winning streak in school history.
The 14,248 fans at the KFC Yum! Center for the Top-15 matchup between No. 2 Louisville and No. 12 Florida State on Sunday marked the third highest attendance of the year in women's college basketball, behind only Notre Dame at UConn (15,564) and Tennessee at South Carolina (14,763). It also marked the highest attendance for a women's game at the KFC Yum! Center since 16,524 showed up for the opener vs. California on Nov. 15, 2015.
Louisville is averaging 7,509 fans this season and have had 26,862 in their last two home games.Â
The Cards trailed in the fourth quarter for just the second time this season against FSU. They also trailed Ohio State, 79-78, with two-and-a-half minutes to go, prior to winning in overtime.Â
Senior Myisha Hines-Allen had 15 rebounds and 13 points vs. Florida State after recording a career-high 18 rebounds, while adding 13 points, at Pitt. Her previous career-high was 17 rebounds vs. Virginia on Jan. 5, 2017.
She has double-digit rebounds in her last six games and is averaging 13.7 rebounds during that span.
With 15 rebounds vs. Virginia Tech, she moved into second place all-time in school history, passing Jazz Covington. At 998 rebounds, she is just two shy of becoming the second member of UofL's 1,000-rebound club. She trails only Angel McCoughtry's 1,261 career rebounds.Â
ABOUT THE HURRICANES
Miami enters Thursday's contest winners of their last three games, which follows a streak where they lost three straight. Last Sunday, they took care of business at Boston College, downing the Eagles, 65-43.
The Hurricanes lead the ACC with 10.4 steals per game, which also ranks 27th in the country. In seven conference games, their 3-pt field goal percentage defense is 27.6 percent, which also leads the league. They rank eighth in the ACC in both scoring offense (70.4) and scoring defense (61.2).
They are led in scoring by freshman Mykea Gray, who averages 12.4 points. She is also tied for the team-lead with 29 made 3-pointers, shooting 30 percent from deep.
Senior Erykah Davenport is the only other player averaging double-figures with 11.3 points. She also leads the team with 9.0 rebounds per game, which ranks fourth in the ACC, and has seven double-doubles. Her 3.5 offensive rebounds per game lead the ACC.Â
