Softball Releases 2017-18 Fall Schedule

Cards will play four intrasquad scrimmages the last two weekends of September

University of Louisville softball coach Sandy Pearsall has announced Cardinals' fall schedule which will consist of four intrasquad scrimmages that will take place Sept. 22-23 and Sept. 29-30 at Ulmer Stadium.

The Cardinals return 11 players and six starters from last season including 2017 all-ACC selection senior Nicole Pufahl and all-ACC freshman team member Caitlin Ferguson and junior Megan Hensley who earned all-ACC honors in 2016. In addition to the returning players, the Cards welcome 10 newcomers to the 2017-18 squad.

In 2017, Louisville posted a 31-19 overall record and finished the season with a 14-8 mark in ACC play which placed the Cardinals second in the final ACC regular season standings.
