
Durr, Hines-Allen Named WBCA Honorable Mention All-Americans

The duo helped Louisville finish with a 29-8 record and a trip to the NCAA Sweet 16.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's basketball's Asia Durr and Myisha Hines-Allen were named Women's Basketball Coaches Association honorable mention All-Americans.
A sophomore, Durr put together one of the best offensive performances in recent school history. She broke the program's single-season record with 119 3-pointers, while extending her school record for consecutive games with a trey to 39 contests. Durr finished the year with 692 points, an average of 19.2 per game – both marks that rank fourth in the school's annals.
Durr, who became the school's 28th member of the 1,000-point club, connected on 233 field goals, sixth most in school history. She also led the team in steals with 46.
Nationally, the Douglasville, Ga., native ranks second in 3-point field goals made, fifth in 3-point field goals per game (3.31), 14th in points, 26th in field goals made, 27th in points per game, and 32nd in 3-point field goal percentage.
The junior, Hines-Allen produced 13.9 points on 49 percent shooting and 9.3 rebounds per game. She tallied 17 double-doubles, tying the school's single-season record that was set twice by Angel McCoughtry. She collected 61 assists and 33 steals. Her 336 rebounds in 2016-17 are third most in a season in program history.
The Montclair, N.J., native reached 1,000 career points earlier in the season and has risen to ninth on the school's all-time scoring list (1,482). Currently, she is sixth on the school's career list in field goals (634) and rebounds (778).
The Montclair, N.J., native ranks 12th nationally in double-doubles, 18th in rebounding (336), 41st in rebounds per game, and 56th in field goals made (209).
