
No. 3 Women's Basketball Closes 2017 at NC State on Sunday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - No. 3 Women's Basketball (15-0) closes out 2017 with a contest at NC State on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. ET.
With the 74-71 win at Georgia Tech to open Atlantic Coast Conference play on Thursday, the Cardinals moved to 15-0 on the year. The 15-0 start ties the best start in program history. They are one of six undefeated teams and their 15 wins are the most in the country.
Louisville also started the season at 15-0 in 06-07. That year, they finished at 27-8, losing in the second round of the NCAA Tourney to Arizona State, 67-58.
It also marks the first 15-game winning streak since they won 15 straight from Dec. 13 to Feb. 4 in 2015-16. The best winning streak in program history is 16 games in 2013-14.
Junior guard Asia Durr finished with 38 points on 15-of-25 shooting, 4-of-8 from deep, in the win at Georgia Tech. She had 27 first half points, including 20 in the second quarter, which helped dig the Cards out of a nine-point deficit.
It marked the second highest point total of her career, second to only her 47-point performance against Ohio State that set the school record. She had 32 points on 6-of-11 3-point shooting against Kentucky.
She has scored in double figures in her last seven games and has 11 double-digit scoring games this season, including six 20-point games. She has seven career 30-point games and 28 career 20-point games.
She is 17-of-27 from 3-point range in her last four games and her 45 3-point field goals made rank ninth in the country and leads the ACC.
For her career, Durr has connected on 208 threes, which ranks sixth on the school's all-time list. With 284 points, she ranks 10th in the country and her 20.3 points per game rank third in the ACC and 28th in the country.
On the road this season, she is averaging an impressive 29.2 points, while shooting 50 percent from deep (23-46).
Senior forward Myisha Hines-Allen hit the game-winner on a running layup with two seconds remaining in the win at Georgia Tech. She averages 13.5 points, which ranks second on the team, and 9.2 rebounds, which ranks third in the ACC and 58th in the country. She ranks second in the ACC with 6.3 defensive rebounds per game.
She has scored in double figures in her last four games and 11 times this season. Her 55.8 field goal percentage ranks seventh in the ACC.
