- Lamar Jackson finished the game with 342 yards of total offense. He had 195 yards and three touchdowns in the air, with 147 yards and one score on the ground.
- Jackson is the first player in FBS history to have two seasons with 1,000 rushing yards and 3,000 passing yards. Previously, seven players achieved it once in their careers.
- Jackson surpassed 100-yards rushing in the first quarter, extending his school record with his 20th career 100-yard rushing game. It puts him in a tie for sixth-place with NC State's Joe McIntosh (1981-84) in ACC history. Jackson's 147 yards give him seven 100-yard games – tying him with Louisville's Bilal Powell (2010), Frank Moreau (1999) and Walter Peacock (1973).
- Jackson has moved into eighth place on the NCAA's career list for rushing yards by a quarterback with 3,707 yards.
- With his seventh 100-yard rushing game this year, Jackson is the only player in Louisville history to have seven or more 100-yard rushing games in two different seasons. He had a school-record eight in 2016.
- Jackson's 17th rushing touchdown this year moves him into a tie for sixth with Frank Moreau (1999) for most rushing TDs in a season at Louisville.
- Jackson's 63rd career passing touchdowns moved him into a tie for 13th place on the ACC's career passing touchdowns list.
- Jackson completed 15 passes, moving into fifth on school's career chart for completions with 577.

- Dee Smith registered his second career interception, returning it a career-long 45 yards.
- Trumaine Washington, who had four tackles, set a career high with three pass breakups.
- Reggie Bonnafon returned five punts for a total of 44 yards, the most since junior Jaire Alexander totaled 130 yards in the 63-20 win over Florida State last season.
- True freshmen Cole Bentley (guard) and Kemari Averett (tight end) earned the start on offense. They are the sixth and seventh true freshmen, respectively, to start this year, and the eighth and ninth freshmen, respectively, to start a game this season.
