
Women’s Basketball Signees Named McDonald’s All-American Game Nominees

Lindsey Duvall, Dana Evans, and Loretta Kakala make up the fourth-ranked class in the nation.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's basketball signees Lindsey Duvall, Dana Evans, and Loretta Kakala are among the nominees for the prestigious McDonald's All-American Game, it was announced this week.
The final rosters of 24 boys and 24 girls, selected from the state-by-state list of nominees, will be revealed at 10:30 p.m. ET on Jan. 15 during the McDonald's All-American Games Selection Show on ESPNU.
Duvall, Evans, and Kakala make up the fourth-rated class in the nation, according to espnW HoopGurlz. Since 2010, Walz and his staffs have built six top-10 classes.
Duvall, a 5-foot-9 guard, is the No. 22-ranked player in the class of 2017, according to espnW HoopGurlz. A 5-foot-6 guard, Evans is a five-star prospect that is ranked seventh overall in the class of 2017, according to espnW HoopGurlz. A 6-foot-3 forward, Kakala is a five-star recruit and the 25th-best player in the class of 2017, according to espnW HoopGurlz.
