Softball Fall Schedule Released

Cards will play four games over two weekends and host Alumnae Weekend
University of Louisville softball coach Sandy Pearsall has announced that the 2016-17 Fall Schedule has been finalized. The Cardinals will play four games over two weekends and host an Alumnae Weekend at Ulmer Stadium.

The Cardinals will open the fall slate on September 24 when they face Bellarmine at 12 p.m. and Lake Land College at 2 p.m. Bellarmine and Lake Land will meet at 4 p.m.

UofL will return to action on Saturday, October 1 when they play Bellarmine at 10 a.m. and Walter's State at 12 p.m. Walter's State and Bellarmine will face off in the final game of the day.

The Cards will welcome former players back to campus for Alumnae Weekend which will take place October 21-22. For more information regarding Alumnae Weekend, please email Kassie@gocards.com

Louisville finished the 2016 season with a 35-17 overall record and second-place regular-season finish in the ACC and earned its 13th consecutive NCAA tournament berth. The Cardinals return 15 players from last year's team including All-ACC selections Maryssa Becker, Megan Hensley and Jordan McNary while welcoming five newcomers.
