
Naperalsky Joins Sports Performance Staff

Michael Naperalsky joins UofL Sports Performance staff after six years with U.S. Ski & Snowboard
"Michael comes from one of the most well respected high-performance environments in elite sport in North America, and we are thrilled to be adding him to our team," said Teena Murray, Director of Sports Performance.
During his time at USSS- the national governing body for Olympic skiing and snowboarding- Naperalsky managed the delivery of sport science and strength and conditioning services for cross country, Nordic combined, women's ski jumping and free skiing disciplines. The success of these programs includes Gold Medals at World Championships, Winter X Games and Olympic Winter Games.
"I'm excited to join a well-established team at Louisville, and help contribute to the preparation of champions," said Naperalsky.
Naperalsky, a native of Granger, Ind., earned his Master of Science Health and Human Performance from the University of Montana in 2009 and his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Ball State in 2006.
