Team Record and Series Notes:
- Louisville now is 15-17 all-time versus DePaul after the loss. It was the first meeting between the programs in the NCAA Tournament and the first as non-conference foes since 1988.
- This was the first time Louisville has lost to a No. 6-seed in the NCAA Tournament. They were 5-0 against No. 6-seeds entering the game.
Team Notes:
- The Cardinals shot better from the field than DePaul (47.5 percent-47.2 percent). It is only the second loss this season when they have shot better from the field than their opponent.
- Louisville dished out 14 assists against the Blue Demons, the 33rd game this season with at least double digits.
- The Cardinals had four players score in double figures, the 13th time this season they have had four or more.
- Louisville held the rebounding advantage over the Blue Demons 37-29, the 26th time this season it had more rebounds than its opponent.
- It was the eighth-consecutive game the Cardinals had corralled 35 or more rebounds.
- The Cardinals grabbed six steals against DePaul, its 31st game this season with five or more thefts.
Player Notes:
- Myisha Hines-Allen scored 14 points against DePaul and was one rebound shy of her 12th double-double of the season. She finished with 14 points and nine rebounds.
- It was her 30th double-figure scoring game of the season and her 19th game with eight or more rebounds.
- Sophomore Mariya Moore recorded the third double-double of her career with 14 points and a career-high 10 rebounds.
- Briahanna Jackson had a team-high 20 points against DePaul. It is her seventh time leading the team in scoring and the most points since she scored 23 against IUPUI on Dec. 15.
- Jackson had nine field goals in the contest, tied for the ninth most in an NCAA Tournament game in school history.
- Asia Durr had 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting, her ninth game this season with 15 or more points.
- Arica Carter had five assists against DePaul, which tied her with Briahanna Jackson for the team high.
